Nominations for PTA Executive Board Positions Welcome
Please consider serving on next year's PTA Executive Board or School Leadership Team! Click here to access the online nomination form. Submissions should be made via this form or via email to the Nominations Committee before the election on May 8th 2014. However, names may be written onto the ballot at the election meeting in May. Nomination forms and duties in English and Spanish are posted on the PTA section lower down on the lefthand side of this page.

Open Library Hours
Room 408 is now available during lunch and after-school for students who would like to use the library and take advantage of a quiet independent reading location. The program is dependent upon our parent volunteer schedule. Scholars should check the library to confirm it is open.

Schedule is as follows:
Monday through Friday, during lunch, 1:30 - 2:30pm
Tuesday and Thursday, after-school, 3:15-5:15pm

Wednesday, April 30 through Friday, May 2

Summer Youth Employment
2014 Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is accepting applications NOW! The application period is from Monday, March 3rd - Friday, April 25th, 2014. All youth aged 14-24, who permanently live in New York, are eligible to apply.
The application deadline is May 16th, 2014

Admissions Information for Fall 2014:                
Admissions to Mott Hall II is open to all students who currently live in District 3 and/or attend a public elementary school in District 3. At this time, all inquiries should be directed to the Office of Student Enrollment, located at 388 West 125th Street, 7th floor. 

Community Service Learning
Mott Hall II Community Service Learning was launched on Thursday, January 2nd.  The agreement form was due back to Ms. Robbins on Monday, January 27th.  Students cannot begin their community service learning until this form is received.  7th graders are strongly encouraged to participate, but we are offering community service to all families.

View ELA & Math Test Results 

The NY State Dept. of Education has released 2013 Math and ELA test results. View results here: http://arisparentlink.org/parentlink/

Parents / guardians will need the ARIS user name and password to access the student’s test information. Don’t know your ARIS user name / password? Contact Jory Plevel at jplevel@mott.echalk.com. You can review District and Borough test results by all students, English Language Learners, special education status, ethnicity and gender by going to:http://schools.nyc.gov/Accountability/data/TestResults/ELAandMathTestResults.

All students entering a New York City School 
for the first time must have a complete physical examination and all required immunizations.
